Hello Family & friends! This is Clint with another update; sorry for the delay...
The blue Bracelets are starting to show up every where and even some in unexpected places. A big thank you to Keith Williams who has been selling them at the Mining Expo in Elko, NV (you donate and Keith hands you a Margarita and a blue recovery bracelet)!!! Nice thinking buddy... Everyone else is hitting the pavement hard as well, so a big "Hoo Raw!"
Chris is getting stronger day by day, and making some big strides still to date. His arms and core have gotten strong enough for him to sit up in a long sit on his own and play catch with his physical therapist (no hands)... Amazing work, and keep it all going in the direction that you are brother! He is starting to see some good improvements on the weight training also; adding weight almost every day or two. That in itself speaks volumes, and shows that we are making daily progress.
On top of the training, Chris has been able to get out of the Rehab Center on numerous occasions which is good for the mind and spirit. I don't care what anyone says; a little vitamin D never hurt nobody!!! So, I can honestly say that it is a marathon and everyone has realized that, but nothing but steps forward coming to you all from the Reno Rehab Center.
You all take care out there, and we all thank you again for your continued support. I will be sitting with Chris next weekend for the next update, so you all don't be surprised if the next one comes directly from the man himself...
Onward!

Chris,
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear that you are making good progress! Just keep your head up and remember that everyone is cheering for you. We have all been praying for you and Maria to stay strong and have faith. It's not the same at work without you. Keep up the good work!
Christina
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteI hope all is going well. I hear you're making some great progress, so keep it up! Hopefully I'll get a chance to see you in July; I miss ya man.
As an aside, I think your netbook has a built in web-cam, which will allow you to video conference with people through Skype.
It is a pretty simple registration process and install, then once it is installed, you just click "video call" and there ya are. It is a free service for video calls (internet connection needed), but I figured it might be something worth looking into if you ever feel up to it.
Here is the link to the download and the website: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/windows/downloading/

Aside from that, I hope you guys had a great Father's Day with your families. Get well, get strong, and hopefully we'll see you at 100% in July.
Jake
Sorry, just realized I may have needed to build the code for the links.
ReplyDeleteSkype Download (you may need to click the bar that appears at the top of the page)
Skype Home
Hopefully that works.
